Some $ 28 billion, losses of Saudi investors because of attacks on US

Saudi experts expect that losses of the Saudi investors to reach $ 28 billion as a result of decrease in the world financial markets and the suspension of the American markets following the attacks at key infrastructure sites in the US.

The Saudi paper al-Iqtisadeya ( the economist ) quoted Saeed al-Sheikh, the key economist at the Saudi Trade People's Bank that world investment funds will all be affected by the incidents that took place in the US and that the shares of the insurance companies had the greatest losses. He estimated the volume of the Saudi investment in the joint shares Funds between the Saudi and international banks to $ 35 billion.

For his part, the Saudi deputy minister of finance and the national economy Jubara al-Sreisri stressed that the Saudi financial market was not affected by the collapse of the financial markets in the US, and the Saudi Riyals was not affected by the reduction of the US Dollar.
