Peres-Arafat meeting within two days, seven Palestinians killed by Israeli forces

Seven Palestinians were killed and tens other wounded, most of them in critical conditions in the series of breaking in operations carried out by the Israeli forces into Jenin, Areiha, Toulkarem, Qalqilya and Sefleit resulting in more human and material casualties among the Palestinians.
News reports said that these cities were converted into squares of real wars between the invading Israeli forces and the Palestinian citizens who hurried to defend their cities and were able of destroying one tank and break other two in Jenin.
Israeli political sources said that the breaking in operations fall in the course of the plan approved by the mini Israeli ministerial council which aims at re- occupying the Palestinian territories, supervised by the Palestinian Authorities.
The Israeli forces prevented members of Sans frontiers doctors humanitarian organization from leaving Gaza which is under a tough military Israeli siege.
Member of the Palestinian negotiation team Saeb Oreikat said in two telephone calls with each of the US envoy William Burns and the European envoy Angels Moratinos that Israel is waging a strong war against the Palestinians and is organizing organized military operations to reoccupy areas of the Palestinian authorities.
At the political level, Palestinian and Israeli sources agreed on a date and place of the meeting between the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat and the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres during the two coming days.
The Israeli sources set Sunday at the time of the meeting at Gaza International Airport.
The Israeli radio quoted these sources as saying that the chairman of the planning commission at the Israeli army Maj. Gen. A. Eyalon will accompany Peres to the meeting.
On the other hand, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon called on his foreign minister Peres not to deal during this meeting with Arafat to political affairs.
Political sources at the court of the Israeli prime minister said that no hopes will be pinned on the forthcoming meeting.
Nabil Abu Rudinah, Arafat's advisor stressed that Peres has to have an authorization to discuss all political and security issues.
