Al-Assad cables condolences to President Bush, call for international co-operation to eliminate terrorism

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday sent a cable to US President George Bush in which he condemned the terrorist attacks which targeted the innocent civilians and key infrastructure positions in the USA.
In the name of the Syrian people and his own name, the President offered condolences to the American president, to the American people and families of the victims.
Al-Assad called for an international co-operation to eliminate all forms of terrorism and to ensure protection of simplest human rights, foremost being the right to live peacefully, wherever he exists.
