European flights to Lebanon suspended

Authorities of the Beirut International Airport were informed from the administration of certain European airline companies the suspension of their flight to the Lebanese airport as from Tuesday's evening, without explaining the reasons or defining a date for resuming the flights again.
The Lebanese national news agency said, according to its correspondent at the airport that these airline companies are seven belong to Germany, Britain, Holland, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland and Hungary.
It was presumed that these companies will arrive in Beirut from their respective countries on Tuesday evening but the flights were postponed.
Worthy mentioning that air flights from and into certain European airports were affected following what happened in New York and Washington on Tuesday.
