Joint Omani- British military exercises

Oman on Wednesday announced that the attacks made against the US on Tuesday will not affect a large scale military exercises due to be held in October with the participation of British forces.
News reports quoted the spokesman for the Omani defense ministry as saying that the exercises with Britain will be made as scheduled, and that the British forces started to arrive as from the first of September, noting:" we have almost completed details pertaining to these exercises which are expected to start on October, 1st."
It is, however, scheduled that hundreds of British troopers and 13,000 Omani soldiers to take part in the exercises which will be held on October 1st- 30th.
