American embassy in Damascus closed for one day

The Israeli radio quoted a source at the American embassy in Damascus as saying that the embassy was closed just for one day with the aim to re- estimate the security conditions.
The radio added that the Syrian police men cordon the headquarters of the American embassy in Damascus since Tuesday.
