President Guelleh commends President Mubarak's role on the African scene

resident Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti has paid tribute to President Hosni Mubarak's role on the African scene.
In statements to the Middle East News Agency on the sidelines of the African Summit in Lusaka, President Guelleh described the Egyptian leader as one of the pioneers and proponents of African-Arab collective action.
President Guelleh termed relations between Egypt and Djibouti as historical and excellent.
Guelleh moreover pointed to the continued coordination between the two countries and their officials.
He described the African Summit outcome as positive especially with regard to turning to one African union that is an important development.
