Ukrainian deputy foreign minister meets Moroccan officials

Ukrainian deputy foreign minister, Vladimir Yeltchenko, who started Monday on a three-day work visit to Morocco, held talks in Rabat Tuesday with several Moroccan officials, including secretary of state for foreign affairs and cooperation, Taib Fassi Fihri, and minister of social economy, small and medium-sized enterprises and handicraft, in charge of the government's general affairs, Ahmed Lahlimi.
Talks probed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation, especially in matters of economy and trade and stressed the need to set up a legal framework to rule this cooperation.
The Ukrainian official announced during his meeting with Lahlimi that Ukrainian foreign minister, Anatoli Zlenko, is planning to visit Morocco shortly and that Ukraine is projecting to open an Ukrainian trade center in Casablanca to promote exchanges and hoist economic cooperation to the level of the excellent political relations existing between the two countries.
The Ukrainian official and his accompanying delegation are to meet this Wednesday members of the Moroccan employers' association, la Confederation Generale des Entreprises du Maroc (CGEM), and executives of the state-owned phosphates corporation (OCP).
