Italy presents Mrs. Mubarak with rare copy of 'Book of the Dead'

The Italian Ministry of Culture decided to present Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak with a copy of the "Book of the Dead", currently displayed at Torino museum.
The book will be presented to Mrs. Mubarak during the trial opening of Alexandria Library in October in appreciation of her efforts to revive the library project.
Statements to that end were made Monday by the General Supervisor of the National Committee for reviving the heritage and culture of the Mediterranean at the Italian Ministry during a press conference with Alexandria governor Mohammad Abdel Salam Al Mahgoub.
The Italian official confirmed that the European Union agreed to offer support to "Alexandria a Mediterranean City" project where seminars and conferences will be held on the sidelines of the project with the participation of several Mediterranean countries.
He commended bilateral cooperation between the Egyptian and Italian culture ministries.
On the other hand, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, Chairwoman of Integrated Care Association, headed a meeting to review the association's new library located at Maadi, Cairo that Public library offers its services to Al-Maadi and neighboring districts and comprises 123,900 book and 122 computers.
