On al-Wahda dam project

The Jordanian minister of waters and irrigation Hazem al-Nasser has stressed that the Jordanian government is proceeding in preparations for implementing al- Wahda dam in cooperation with Syria as soon as possible.
In an exclusive statement to the " al-Arab " daily issued on Saturday, the Jordanian minister indicated that the phase of qualifying companies which will carry out this projects have almost been completed.
The Jordanian minister commended the co-operation relations with the Syrian and described these relations as excellent and at highest levels, especially in the field of water co-operation.
