AL to try Israeli war criminals

A well-informed Arab diplomatic source at the Arab League said that a committee comprising Arab experts in the international and the criminal law will be formed to be as a consultation commission for the Arab League in charge of studying and defining necessary legal measures to sue the Israeli war criminals and to try them.

In a statement to SANA's correspondent in Cairo on Saturday the source said that the formation of the said committee comes in implementation of the recent Arab summit resolutions which was held in Amman and the decision of the recent emergency AL council which was held on August 22 in Cairo to draw a suitable mechanism to bring the Israeli war criminals before an international trial and to assign the AL general secretariat to study and follow up this matter.
