Greek president hails Mubarak's peace efforts

Greek President Konstandinos Stephanopoulos expressed appreciation of President Hosni Mubarak's efforts to establish peace in the Middle East region.
Emerging from a meeting with a delegation of Egyptian university professors, Stephanpoulos praised Egypt's pivotal role in the region and the Arab world as well as its balanced policies adopted with all world countries.
Comprising 25 professors and 15 students members in the Egyptian Association for Graeco-Roman Studies under Ahamd Etman, Professor of Greek studies in Cairo University, the delegation met with Stephanopoulos and the speaker of the Greek Parliament separately.
