Fourteen German companies looking forward to cooperate with Egyptian agents

The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce announced yesterday details of a marketing assistance program to aid 14 German firms find agents or joint ventures in Egypt and the region.

Executive Director of the Chamber Peter Gopfrisch said the companies, located in the eastern part of Germany, operate in various sectors.

Through the program, they will participate in exhibitions in Cairo and Alexandria, as well as visit selected Egyptian companies.

The Chamber is also providing marketing and promotional consultation, company specific market analysis, and assistance with the establishment of a network of business partners.

The program began in June and will continue until the end of November 2001.

On the other hand, about 50 Egyptian companies working in the foodstuffs industry will display their products in the biggest international fair staged in Cologne next October.
