Jordan: American diplomat summoned to be a witness in a terrorism case
The state's security court in Amman on Tuesday decided to summon an American diplomat in Jordan to give his testimony in the case of a Jordanian who has the American nationality. This Jordanian will be re-tried after he was sentenced to death in absentia in the year 2000 for planning to carry out terrorist acts, according to his lawyer Jalal Darwish.

Saudi Arabia arrests commodities of Israeli source
The Saudi ministry of commerce has recently arrested a shipment of " Carrot meals " coming to Saudi from Israel via Poland, according to the Saudi daily al-Riyadh in its Thursday's issue. The paper added that the arrested amount of " carrot- meals" is in 325 barrels with each barrel weight 200 Kg coming from Poland.

The first investigation judge in Damascus on Thursday issued a memorandum of arrest against member of the Syrian parliament Riyadh Seif because of accusing him of violating the rules, after the completion of current investigations, SANA reported. Iraq on Thursday announced that the American warplanes destroyed a pipe transporting portable waters to the southern villages in Iraq in an aggression launched by these planes by the beginning of the current week. An Iraqi official source said that the portable water pipe was destroyed in four places and can not be restored because there are still un-exploded shells and missiles thrown by the US and British planes in the area. Witnesses reported that a Palestinian suspected to have cooperated with Israel was killed on Tuesday by opening fire at him in his town Deir al-Ghosoun in the north of Toulkarem in the north of the West Bank. The sources said that the man who is (65 year old) was killed when unidentified armed men broke into his supermarket and killed him by gun shots. Go

The Turkish minister for customs affairs Muhammad Kadijlar said on Wednesday in a statement issued by the Turkish daily Hurriet that Turkey and Iraq are desiring to open a second border gate as soon as possible in order to alleviate the great pressure on al-Khabour Gate between the two countries.
