Iraq, Turkey to open a new border Gate

The Turkish minister for customs affairs Muhammad Kadijlar said on Wednesday in a statement issued by the Turkish daily Hurriet that Turkey and Iraq are desiring to open a second border gate as soon as possible in order to alleviate the great pressure on al-Khabour Gate between the two countries.
On the other hand, the paper indicated the trade and economic talks carried out by the advisor of the Turkish foreign ministry Koushad Touzmi in Iraq at the meantime, noting that agreements were signed at a total cost of 350 million between Turkish and Iraqi establishments and companies.
