Comoros to preside over Arab foreign ministers meeting

For the first time, since its joining the Arab League AL membership, in being the 22nd Arab states, Comoros will preside over the meetings of the 106th session of the council of the Arab League due to be held at the level of the Foreign ministers on September 9 and 10 in Cairo.
Comoros's ambassador in Cairo and its permanent representative at the AL Muhammad Ali said this historical occasion for the first time is very dear for Comoros and its people.
However, Comoros's membership at the AL in 1993, was preceded by two a failed attempts in 1977 and 1988.
