Malaria in Sudan

Reports by directors of health and Malaria departments in the Sudanese provinces unveiled the increase number of reported Malaria disease cases and mortality rate by it.
These reports which were submitted on Monday in the meeting for directors that the number of Malaria deaths reached in Khartoum, the White Nile, Sanar, al-Jazira, the Blue Nile, North Kurdafan, 100 Malaria death cases in August.
The reports added that more than 70,000 persons were affected and visited hospitals at the said provinces in August and that the rate of children affected by Malaria reached 76% in Kurdafan.
