Mrs. Mubarak calls for establishing Arab women organization

Egyptian First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, the chairperson of the extraordinary summit of the Arab women said participants have made a call for establishing the Arab women organization under the umbrella of the Arab League.

This came during the meeting of the committee responsible for arranging for the Arab women summit that was held under her chairmanship in presence of representatives from 18 Arab states.

During the meeting, Mrs. Mubarak expressed her appreciation of the Palestinian women struggle that is part of the Arab women fabric.

Delegations taking part in the meeting hailed efforts by Mrs. Mubarak for developing the status of the Arab women.

On her part, ambassador Moshira Khattab, the Secretary General of the national council for motherhood and childhood hailed efforts by Mrs. Mubarak for creating a new generation of feminist Leaderships.

She said a full dressed program has been mapped out for enhancing the status of the Egyptian women.
