Belgian lawyer: Brussels will resist the Israeli pressures to halt trying Sharon

The Belgian lawyer Luke Valin who filed a case against the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon o try him as a war criminal on behalf of the victims of the Sabra and Shatilla massacres has stressed that his country will resist all pressures exerted on it to this issue.

In the press conference organized by Zayed's center for coordination and follow up in Abu Dhabi, Valin explained that the crime he is working in is one of the mass- annihilation crimes, stressing that Israel is making pressures on certain governments in the world in order to change their laws to try criminals of war with the aim to prevent trying of the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon.

Valin stressed that the crime committed by Sharon is a mass annihilation crime and a racist crime, calling on the world countries to cooperate and honor international treaties and laws concerning mass killing.
