Iraq intercepts the raiding warplanes

An Iraqi military spokesman has announced that the Iraqi anti- aircraft missiles intercepted on Sunday American and British warplanes while flying over Southern Iraq and forced them to escape.
The spokesman explained that several of the American and British warplanes formations carried out 7 air sorties over areas in the provinces of al-Muthanna and al-Bosra to the south of Iraq, adding that the Iraqi anti- warplane means confronted these formations and forced them to flee away.
