Hebron, challenges the Israelis, two Palestinians killed

The city of Hebron has been converted following two breaking in attempts by the Israeli forces into an area of confrontation in which the citizens of the city hurried to defend themselves and properties by all means they have. The Palestinian resistance men detonated an explosive in an Israeli patrol in al-Shallalah street.

Palestinian sources said that Muhammad Ashour (22 year old) and Ala' Refaya' also ( 22 year old) were killed while they were confronting the Israeli soldiers attempt to break into Abu Sanenah quarters and another Palestinian was also wounded during the confrontation.

One woman was wounded in the heavy artillery bombardment of Beitonya town while the Palestinian Intifada youths retaliated to the Israeli aggressions by throwing stones on the car of one Israeli settler near Beit Omer and of opening fire on an Israeli occupation position to the south of Ramullah.

In Khan Younis the Israeli forces detonated a well for potable waters and installed a military position on the frontier of Ghoushe Katieve settlement and incurred for 200 meters.

The Israeli police arrested tens of Palestinians who were inside a car under the pretext of living in Israel without official licenses.

Meantime, the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat denounced the policy of assassination and crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians in which Israel uses internationally banned weapons and gas bombs. He said that at the meantime, Israel is trying to Judaize the Islamic and Cristian shrines in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Beit Sahour and al-Khalil, stressing that the Palestinians will defend these holy sites by all means.
