The Egyptian ambassador in Damascus Muhammad Ahmad Ismael stressed the solid and deep relations linking Syria and Egypt. In a statement issued on Friday by the Egyptian daily al-Joumhoreyah Ismael said that it was agreed to hold several joint projects between the two countries, foremost being the natural gas project which starts from Egypt and passes through Jordan and Syria until Turkey.
