Solid and deep relations linking Syria and Egypt

The Egyptian ambassador in Damascus Muhammad Ahmad Ismael stressed the solid and deep relations linking Syria and Egypt. In a statement issued on Friday by the Egyptian daily al-Joumhoreyah Ismael said that it was agreed to hold several joint projects between the two countries, foremost being the natural gas project which starts from Egypt and passes through Jordan and Syria until Turkey. He described this project as constituting a big breakthrough in the economic relations between the two sisterly countries, Syria and Egypt.
The ambassador also indicated the volume of trade exchange between Damascus and Cairo.
