Mrs. Mubarak chairs Alexandria library board of trustees meeting

The Egyptian First Lady Suzanne Mubarak will chair today a meeting of the board of trustees of Alexandria Library to follow up development and course of work ahead of inauguration in April.

Mrs. Mubarak will see to preparations for experimental operation in October.

She will also officially open the Stanley Bridge in Alexandria.

The construction of this bridge falls within a project to expand the corniche of Alexandria, whose total costs hit LE 350 million.

Also, Mrs. Mubarak chairs tomorrow the meeting of the preparatory high committee of Arab women summit to prepare for the agenda of the conference due to be held in Cairo on November 11-12. The meeting will be attended by ministers and representatives of states due to participate in the summit.

Mrs. Suzanne inaugurates on Tuesday full care complex in Assyuf area in Alexandria. It is the fifth complex to be established in Alexandria's slums.
