Jordanian crown prince to follow up studies in the USA
Jordan, Local, 9/1/2001

The Jordanian crown prince Hamzah Bin al-Hussein left Amman heading for the USA to follow up his scientific studies in one of the American Universities. The Jordanian official news agency gave no mention to the name of the said US University.

Prince Hamzah graduated from the royal military academy in Britain in 2000. The academy from which graduated were the majority of the Jordanian royal family: the late King al-Hussein Bin Abdullah and the current King Abdullah Bin al-Hussein.

Prince Abdullah was appointed a crown prince to Jordan after his (half brother) King Abdullah assumed monarchy in Jordan in February 1999. He is the fourth son for the late Jordanian King and also the elder son for the fourth wife of the late King, Queen Nour al-Hussein, of the American nationality and a Syrian origin.
