Moroccan delegation attends parliamentary meeting on racism in Durban

A delegation of parliamentarians from the chamber of advisors (upper house of the Moroccan parliament) will take part in the meeting of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) on racism to be held in Durban on September 2.
The IPU meeting will debate parliamentarians' action in struggle against racism, racial discrimination and xenophobia with special emphasis on freedom of speech and rights of immigrants and minorities.
The meeting is held on the sidelines of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance convened in Durban August 31 through September 7.
