The AL council and the American missiles system

An official source at the Arab League stressed on Thursday that the Arab League (AL) council will discuss in its 116th session to be held at the level of the Arab foreign ministers on September 9 and 10 the issue of the US missiles defense system and its consequences on the Arab states in the light of the existing cooperation between the US and Israel in this system.
The source explained that the aim of studying this issue which is to be discussed for the first time at the agenda of the AL council is in the course of coordinating Arab stances and following up new items, on the light of the opposition shown by Russia and several European states as well as China at the US missiles system.
