Annan telephones Yasser Arafat

The secretary general of the United Nations Kofi Annan on Thursday made a telephone call with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat. Arafat's advisor Nabil Abu Rudinah said that Annan discussed with Arafat current developments in the Palestinian territories. The Israeli radio reported.
