Investigations continue over USS Cole warship explosion

The US ambassador to Yemen Barbara Budin has stated that investigations in the suicide explosion which targeted the US warship in 2000 and resulted in killing 17 mariners, need more time to attain results.
News reports quoted Budin as saying in a press conference on Tuesday before her return back to Washington after the end of her term of office in Sanaa, that investigations in the said attack are complex and the American investigators are still trying to find out lost evidence.
Washington believes that the attack was launched by Islamists extremist having links to Osama Bin Laden.
