Al-Qaddafi meets with East Caribbean delegation

Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi in Libya on Monday evening received Grenada's prime minister Keith Michael; Prime minister of Dominican Pierre Charles and health minister in Saint Keats Earl Martin; and member of parliament in Ingwa and Perboda Leonard Hector, currently visiting Libya.

Discussions dealt with the importance of establishing fruitful co-operation between these countries and Libya and stress on maintaining co-operation between the African states and the Latin American countries to serve causes of peace, security and stability in the world.

However, the Latin America East Caribbean delegation said on Monday said during their meeting with Abdul Rahman Shalgham and Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki, the two secretaries of the people's general committee for African unity, foreign contacts and international co-operation that their visit to Libya availed them the chance to draw bilateral and collective co-operation programs in all fields.
