Turkish- Israeli cooperation

One of the former Israeli foreign ministry officials Akoun Leil has stressed Israel's persistence to commit to strengthening relations with Turkey, describing these relations as strategic partnership ones.
In a statement he made to the Turkish daily al-Zamaan issued on Tuesday, the former Israeli officials unveiled Israel's determination to use its relations with Turkey in order to expand Israel's relations with the countries of the former Soviet Union in central Asia.
He explained that Israel's interest to get into the countries of central Asia region has political and economic dimensions.
In an implicit remark to the Israeli desire to control this region, the said Israeli former officials talked about what he had described as big problems that both Israel and Turkey will face in case Iran will control these countries, as he claimed.
