New strategy for World Bank's assistance to Egypt
The World Bank (WB) has approved a new strategy for assistance extended to Egypt over the coming three years. The new strategy calls for supporting the government's efforts for promoting information technology sector, upgrading efficiency of the banking and financial institutions.

Minister witness opening Toshka spillway dyke
Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mahmoud Abu Zeid Monday opened the dyke built at the entrance of Toshka spillway at 11:00 a.m., when the water level before the High Dam reached 178.47 metres.
