Iraq will not agree the return back of weapons inspectors
Iraq, Politics, 8/28/2001

The Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri has renewed rejection that Iraq will not agree to the return back of UN weapons inspectors who left Iraqi more than two years ago before lifting the embargo imposed on it since 1990 and eliminating all mass destruction weapons in Israel.

In a statement to the United Arab Emirates daily al-Itihad issued on Monday, the Iraqi minister said that the UN Security Council resolutions included very tough resolutions that were implemented by Iraq in the hope of lifting the siege but this has not taken place.

He added that Iraq, according to all criterion, carried out obligations assigned to it and the rate of implementation, according to the other side ( the US side) reached 90%.
