Arab participation in Durban conference

Sources at the Arab League have stressed that the Arab League and non- governmental Arab and Egyptian organizations will take part at the UN anti- racism conference due to be held in Durban in South Africa on Friday.
These Arab sides are also coordinating to join the coalition of non- governmental organizations which defend human rights in the world, which will start its activities and demonstrations against discrimination and racism as from today ( Tuesday).
The Arab delegations will also organize large activities including a seminar to be held today ( Tuesday) on racism and the Palestinian people to be organized by the Arab lawyers Union and another workshop on racism and studies on the Israeli war crimes.
The Egyptian and Arab organizations have called on the world organizations to hold a peaceful demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinian people on August 30.
Earlier, the organizations of the Arab human rights sent a message to the US President George Bush in which it strongly denounced the American position which rejects to discuss the brutal racist crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.
