The central leadership of the National Progressive Front reviews developments

The central leadership of the Syrian National Progressive Front held a meeting on Monday, led by Vice President Dr. Muhammad Zuheir Masharqa, who is the deputy chairman of the National Progressive Front.

The leadership listened to a comprehensive report proposed by foreign minister Farouk al-Shara, member of the leadership dealt with several issues relating to Arab, regional and international conditions.

The leadership reviewed latest political developments and noted "the aggressive policies pursued by the Israeli government and the ugly crimes committed everyday in Palestine and the practices which led to undermining the possibility of the establishment of a just and comprehensive peace in the region. The leadership reached a conclusion that what is taking place aims at strong confrontation and escalation in the region."
