Oman, Qatar leaders meet in Doha

Ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifah al-Thani and the Sultan of Oman Sheikh Qabous Bin Saeed, currently visiting Doha on Saturday held a meeting during which they discussed various fields of co-operation between the two countries and means of developing them as well as several issues on the Arab and international arenas.
Qatari sources said that Sheikh Hamad and Sultan Qabous who arrived earlier in the day in Doha, held following the said meeting another close- door meeting.
Meantime, an Omani official source said that Sultan Qabous will head for Cairo in conclusion of his visit to Qatar where he will review with President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt means of expanding bilateral co-operation and the situation in the Arab homeland.
