Yemeni- Saudi border demarcation

Well-informed Yemeni sources said that the Yemeni- Saudi technical committee in charge of demarcating borders between the two countries will start the process of demarcating the border on the field in October this year through placing markers and carrying out all related technical works, noting that a German company is carrying out the markers placing operation.
The sources added that this important step is considered a real translation of the Jeddah agreement which ended the border differences between the two states and opened new prospects in the Yemeni- Saudi relations.
Worthy mentioning that the said German company is the same one that demarcated borders between Oman and Saudi Arabia as well as between Yemen and Oman.
