Israeli laser station

The Paris based weekly " al-Muharrir News" issued on Friday said that information has been leaked from the headquarters of NATO in Brussels that the US approved Israel to establish a huge station for Laser radiation in Jabal al- Sheikh.
The paper said that the task of this station might be the first of its kind and falls in the course of a technological and strategic deal between Washington and Tel Aviv with the aim to completely disturb the Syrian radar systems, for both planes and missiles.
The weekly indicated that works to build the said station will start in the second half of 2002 and it will be completed within three year at a major support from the US.
