Senegalese education minister in Morocco

Senegalese minister of education, Moustapha Sourang, is currently visiting Morocco to discuss with Moroccan officials means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in matters of scientific research and exchange of students.

The Senegalese official, who started his official visit to Morocco on Monday, conferred with Moroccan minister of higher education and scientific research, Najib zerouali, on means to enlarge the scope of bilateral cooperation and attended on Thursday the signing ceremony of the minutes of the meeting of the Moroccan-Senegalese inter-state committee on the exchange of students.

During the 2000-2001 academic year, about 100 Moroccan students studied at Senegalese universities and a similar number of Senegalese students were enrolled in Moroccan universities and higher institutes.

The Senegalese official is to wind up his visit Saturday.
