Toshka spillway to be opened to receive flood water
Mahmoud Abu Zeid, Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, has decided to open the Toshka spillway to receive Nile flood water this year when the level of water behind the high dam reaches 179 metres, one meter higher than last year.
