Education conference in China hails Egypt experience in technology

The countries participating in the education conference in China of the over-populated countries hailed the Egyptian pioneering experience for development and using technology and remote education.

Meanwhile, Minister of Education Hussein Kamel Bahaa Eddine arrived in Beijing Tuesday on a four-day visit to attend the 4th meeting of the ministers of education of the nine over-populated countries, organized by the UNESCO.

On arrival, the minister told reporters the Beijing meeting would tackle the latest developments in the process of promoting elementary education in the nine nations.

"The Egyptian delegation is highly concerned with probing the recommendations of the Dakar conference last year,"he said.

The conference will discuss the role of remote education, as Egypt is a pioneering country in the field of using technology of education, as testified by the President to the World Bank, he added.

Egypt is the only country in the world that possesses a national network of remote education that covers the entire country, he emphasized.
