$ 50 million, the budget of the AL

In the context of the plan of development advocated by the new secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa and in the second part of this plan. Various departments at the Arab league answered the messages addressed by the AL chief to define number of posts needed with contractors whose work contracts expired in December this year and the extend of the need for their work.

The message of the AL chief has set August 20 as the last date to received replies.

However number of contractors reached 400 while the number of the full -time staff is 450 employees.

An important meeting for secretaries of the Arab finance ministers to discuss the financial condition of the AL will be held on August 26 and 28. The participants will discuss the budget proposed by the AL chief estimated at $ 50 million.

Worthy mentioning that the current budget of the AL reached $ 27 while delayed sums had to be paid by the AL member states reached $ 100 million.
