Arafat to visit China on Thursday

A spokesman for the Chinese foreign ministry said on Tuesday that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat will pay a visit to China on Thursday.
News reports quoted the spokesman as saying that Arafat will discuss with the Chinese President Jiang Zemin the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
