Lebanese President welcomes the convening of the Francophonic conference

Lebanese President Emil Lahoud has welcomed the convening of the International federation conference for the Franchophonic conference due to be held in Beirut on October 24 Ð 26 which will precede the convening of the Franchophonic conference due to start on October 26th.
During his meeting in Beirut on Tuesday with the chairman of the municipality of Beirut Abdul Menem al- Arees, the Lebanese President stressed the need of ensuring all reasons for the success of the both the summit and the conference.
Worthy mentioning that that conference will be attended by some 100 head of municipality of 45 Franchophonic states and 25 observation commission. The conference's final session will be attended by the French President Jacques Chirac.
