Syrian irrigation minister heads for Turkey

Syrian minister of irrigation Taha al-Atrash will start today a visit to the Republic of Turkey that will last for several days. This visit will be at the invitation extended to the Syrian minister by the Turkish minister of state Mustafa Yalmaz.
In a pre-departure statement to SANA, the Syrian minister said that this visit aims at strengthening the march of joint cooperation between the two neighboring countries and to discuss several issues of mutual concern especially in the fields of waters and irrigation.
