Palestine-Israel, Politics, 8/21/2001
People of the occupied al-Ghajar city held a demonstration on Monday in protest of the Israeli oppressive measures recently imposed on them.
News reports said that hundreds of the people of the village gathered in the streets and squares of the village and denounced "the policy of repression and terrorism carried out by the Israeli occupation forces" against them.
Among these practices were that the Israeli occupation authorities cut water supplies from the houses of the village and installed a ( military barrier) around the village and prevented its citizens from going from or coming into it. The Israeli Hebrew- language radio reported.
