Al-Assad continues eventful visit to Kuwait

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Monday continued his visit to Kuwait after it was announced the extension of the visit for a third day.
In the second day of his visit to Kuwait, Sunday, President Bashar al-Assad and the ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah held a meeting during which they discussed Arab conditions and developments on the Palestinian arena. View points were identical to strengthening bilateral relations and revitalizing Arab solidarity in confrontation of challenges.
President al-Assad expressed Syria's unwavering position towards the brotherly relations with the state of Kuwait.
At his residence the President received acting speaker of the Kuwaiti Ummah council Mubarak al-Kharneij, the Kuwaiti army chief of staff lt. Gen. Ali Muhammad al-Mou'min and chairman and members of the Kuwaiti chamber of commerce and industry. The President also visited the scientific center in Kuwait.
In the meeting between the two leaders at the Bayan palace on Sunday morning, they discussed bilateral relations, current Arab conditions and latest developments on the Palestinian arena.
On the Syrian side the meeting was attended by the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara, the deputy foreign minister Suleiman Haddad, and the Syrian ambassador to Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Issa. The Kuwaiti side was attended by the Kuwaiti crown prince, the deputy premier, the foreign minister and the minister of information who is also the chairman of the honorary mission.
View points were identical on strengthening bilateral relations and revitalizing inter- Arab solidarity.
The Syrian President expressed Syria's unwavering stances towards relations with the state of Kuwait.
