Preparation measures for the Jordanian parliamentary elections

In preparation for the coming legislative elections to be held next July in Jordan, the Jordanian government has started to take practical measures to this effect. The director of civil status and passports department Aouni Barfas said that his department started to issue election cards for citizens. He said that these elections cards issued for voters are free on which the name of the election circle is written in order to facilitate the election process.
He indicated the increased number of voters after the age of people eligible for voting was reduced from 19 to 18 year old, as stated in the provisional election law released by the government in July this year ( last month).
