$ 35 billion for withstanding water problems in the Arab states

In light of the water crisis from which several Arab states are suffering because of the state of drought these countries knew for several years, a report by the World Bank said that the cost of investment project that are due to be implemented in certain Arab states to meet the shortage in waters might reach $ 35 billion.
The World Bank report stressed that between the years 1960 and 2025 stored renewable waters for per capita annually will be decreased from 3430 to 667 cubic meters because of the misuse of waters, the expanding deserts and the annual increase in population, as number of Arab population will be doubled in the two coming decades.
However, estimates reveal that 300 million Arabs are living in areas suffering a shortage in waters resources and this number will be highly increased with the fall of 2025.
