Al-Assad confers with chairman and members of the Kuwaiti chambers of commerce and industry

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday at his residence in Kuwait at Bayan palace at 9 a.m. ( local time) received chairman and members of the chamber of commerce and industry in the state of Kuwait and several Kuwaiti businessmen.

Present at the meeting were the minister of economy and foreign trade Muhammad al-Imadi, the Kuwaiti minister of information and head of the honorary mission Sheikh Ahmad Fahd al-Ahmad al-Sabah and the Syrian ambassador to Kuwait.

Talks dealt with developmental plans in Syria and projects debated for investment.

The two sides reviewed the new economic projects adopted within the march of the current development and renovation in Syria and the role of these laws in various investment area.

Chairman and members of the Kuwaiti chamber of commerce and industry expressed their admiration over the developmental steps taken place in Syria and expressed "hope of further trade and investment cooperation between the two sisterly countries."
